Suitability of Software



The Software that I used was PhotoShop, I think this was suitable in creating, editing and manipulating the images as PhotoShop gives you a variety of tools that allow you to change the way the image looks. PhotoShop has a lot filters to offer. I think the software that I used was suitable for creating,editing and manipulating images as I was able to create a final image using the features that photoshop had to offer.


File Formats



The file format that I used to save my images where JPEG and PNG. I saved them in these types of formats as I was putting these images up onto my blog so i wanted them to be to the highest quality i could make them, and for the image not to be too large of a file to be able to upload them. If I was sending it as an email it would have to be a smaller size which means a low quality of image, so picking two file formats that were good quality and still small enough to upload to the blog.


Image resolution and colour depth



The image resolution in PhotoShop is high quality as it is a software package designed for creating and manipulating images which has a more detail and data so you don't lose any quality of the image when using PhotoShop but also means a larger file, as for Word the image resolution is not quite as high as it is not a package for images mainly for words so it wont be as high and will lose some of the quality in the image. The lower the image resolution you can see the pixelation in the images. The colour depth in PhotoShop is really good as it gives you a range of colours to choose from and use to make the image look more realistic. As for Word which is not for creating and manipulating images has a lower colour depth so the images will look lower quality than the one from PhotoShop and less realistic.




How Satisfied are you with the images


The final images that I created I think look very good. I am very happy with the outcome of each as I thought they would turn out bad and not very good quality however the opposite happened and I am proud of myself with the final images. The images were fit for the purpose as the three areas I created a picture for you can clearly see why they have been created. The images looked very good but with the feedback I gained from a class mate I was able to make them even better.
